Wasatch Intermountain Preschool

Wasatch Intermountain Preschool is an in-home preschool in Roy taught by a licensed special education teacher who spent seven years teaching elementary school in Davis School District, after five years of teaching preschool before and during college. She earned her special education degree at Weber State University.

We run two classes. Three-year-olds meet two days a week and work on shapes, colors, counting, letters and sounds, recognizing their names, pre-writing and fine motor skills. Four-year-olds meet three days a week, with more fine motor practice, early math, writing letters and numbers, pre-reading, retelling stories and kindergarten readiness. Both classes include sensory play, arts and crafts, music and singing, games, and lessons on seasons and holidays.

Play is the center of how we teach, and we pay close attention to each child's emotional needs and social development so they are ready to learn. Tuition is billed monthly with discounts for families enrolling more than one child, and parents handle paperwork, billing, class calendars and daily updates in the Illumine app.
