About The CinDay Academy Pre-12th Grade Private School
The CinDay Academy is a licensed private school serving preschool through 12th grade on a 7-acre campus near downtown Springboro. The campus has four classroom buildings, a multi-purpose arts and fitness facility, sports courts, playgrounds and outdoor learning spaces.
We have more than 20 years of experience in differentiated education. Teachers group students in small, flexible groups by readiness and interest, so a student can work beyond grade level in one subject while getting more support in another. Hands-on, project-based learning lets students go deep into a subject, and our approach draws on current neuroscience research. Teachers and professional mentors coach each student toward individual goals.
Many families come to us when a traditional classroom has not been working for their child academically. Our school is small, so students are well known by their teachers, and our graduates go on to college or technical training.

Country Hills Montessori
Our Springboro classroom opened in 2000 inside the Hillspring Healthcare Center, and the residents are part of school life. They join our preschool and kindergarten children for crafts, gardening, singing and baking, an intergenerational model that has defined Country Hills Montessori since its founding in 1977. We serve children ages 3 to 6 in a mixed-age Montessori classroom, where 3-year-olds start as the youngest and 5-year-olds take on leadership in their kindergarten year. Our ratio never exceeds 8 children per teacher and is often lower, and classes are led by Montessori-certified teachers. Families choose a morning session from 9:15 to 11:45 a.m. or an afternoon session from 12:45 to 3:15 p.m., and pre-K and kindergarten children can stay the full day. The curriculum covers phonics-based reading, hands-on math with materials such as the Hundred Board, sensorial work, practical life, and world geography and culture. Enrichment includes a Dayton Philharmonic string quartet program, zoo and museum programs, Spanish, and music with a certified Kindermusik instructor. Full-day kindergarten adds art, science, history and cultural enrichment.
