Our Wilmington campus provides alternative education and day-treatment services for students in crisis. Classroom instruction is paired with a therapeutic component, social-skills learning, and practice with replacement behaviors. We coordinate early intervention with the school district and community partners.

At Southeastern Autism Academy in Wilmington, we provide a year-round private day school with small-group instruction. Our program at OASIS NC focuses on social-emotional communication, relationships and life skills for autistic students. We use North Carolina State Standards as a guide and adapt lessons and materials to each student's skills and learning style. Our Burnt Mill Village site on Randall Parkway has quiet indoor areas for individual learning and larger spaces for movement and recreation. School activities include academics, games, field trips and events such as our annual film festival. Our relationship-based approach begins with a student's interests, with instruction that includes communication, problem-solving and social participation.
