About Town Center Preschool

Families in the Hammocks and West Kendall area have relied on Town Center Preschool for about 30 years, and our Gold Seal accredited center stays open year-round on weekdays, 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., closing only on legal holidays.

We care for infants, toddlers and two-year-olds, then move children into Pre-K3 and K4 classrooms built on the High/Scope approach: planned learning spaces, organized materials, and a plan-do-review routine in which children choose, carry out and reflect on their own work. We welcome children of all abilities, keep low student-to-teacher ratios, and train staff in first aid and CPR.

Town Center School also teaches kindergarten through 5th grade in small groups. Our K-5 afterschool program adds homework help, daily literacy instruction, fitness, dance, yoga and arts and crafts, and winter, spring and summer camps bring themed weeks and field trips. Families can pay with School Readiness, Thrive by 5 or Florida VPK funding, or with scholarships from Step Up for Students (FES, FES-UA, FTC and Hope).
