CORE Education Academy

Anova Center for Education operates the ACE Contra Costa Campus, a K-12 nonpublic school certified by the California Department of Education. It provides intensive academic instruction alongside integrated therapeutic services for students with autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, emotional disturbance, and other neurodevelopmental impairments. The school uses the Anova Method of Education (AME), which combines individualized academics based on state frameworks with speech therapy, occupational therapy, behavior analysis, social cognition therapy, and related supports. Students receive IEPs developed by a multidisciplinary team of teachers and clinicians. Placement occurs through school districts or private enrollment. Hope Academy for Dyslexics is dedicated to empowering students in grades three through eight who face language-based learning differences, such as dyslexia. Orion Academy is a college-preparatory high school in Concord for students whose academic progress is affected by autism spectrum disorder and executive functioning differences. Coursework meets California standards, includes UC-approved offerings, and is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The school is approved to accept publicly funded students.
