About Orchards Elementary School

Orchards Elementary is an Evergreen Public Schools neighborhood school in east Vancouver, where students call themselves All-Stars and our motto is We Shine Brighter Together.

We are a Title I and Learning Assistance Program school, which funds extra academic support, and we share family materials in English, Chuukese, Russian and Spanish. A full-time school counselor, joined part of the week by a second counselor, teaches social-emotional lessons tied to Washington's six SEL standards, provides short-term individual counseling, refers families to longer-term therapy, and coordinates Section 504 plans.

Right At School runs before-school and after-school child care on site, and we keep resources for Pacific Islander families and a parent volunteer program.

Our counseling team of three school counselors supports students through the middle school years and connects families with youth mental health resources across Clark County. Students can perform in band, choir and orchestra, and our athletics program includes cheer, track, girls' basketball and boys' soccer.
