Minnick School, Harrisonburg Campus

Minnick Schools, operated by the nonprofit enCircle, are private day schools licensed by the Virginia Department of Education and accredited by VAISEF. They serve students ages 5 to 22 who have experienced challenges in public school settings, with campuses in Harrisonburg, Lynchburg, Roanoke, Grundy, Wytheville, Big Stone Gap, and Bristol. Programs combine a vibrant academic curriculum with individualized behavioral supports, social skills groups, and a social-emotional learning curriculum delivered by Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and master's-level Student Support Professionals. Model classrooms support students on the autism spectrum and those with multiple disabilities. Students are referred by their home public school district, with a goal of returning successfully to public school or transitioning to life after school. Career and Technical Education and an Extended School Year summer program are offered.
