New ownership

Since the new owners took over in April 2025, the quality of care and overall standards at the school have noticeably declined. The school no longer reflects the environment and values it was known for under the previous ownership. The teachers appear unhappy, and many families have left due to the change in ownership, scheduling issues, and what seems to be a lack of experience and organization from the new management. There is very little visible leadership or engagement from the owners. While one owner is often in the office, there is little evidence of hands-on involvement, and it shows in both the appearance of the building and the classrooms. Staff hours were reduced, reportedly for budgeting reasons, leaving classrooms short-staffed and struggling to maintain appropriate teacher-to-child ratios. When classrooms need additional support, there appears to be little assistance from the owners, placing additional stress on the teachers and affecting the quality of care provided to the children. The Montessori program has also suffered significantly. The classrooms lack authentic Montessori materials, with mismatched shelving and an overall lack of care that make the learning environment feel inconsistent with Montessori standards. It is disappointing to see such a respected school decline so quickly after the change in ownership. I hope the owners take these concerns seriously and make meaningful improvements for the benefit of the children, families, and dedicated teachers who remain.
