About Mansfield High School
Mansfield High School opened in 2002 and is home to the black and gold Tigers. We are part of Mansfield ISD in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, and we build a culture of learning on relationships and high expectations, where students take ownership of their education.
Students can join clubs such as Academic Decathlon, the Black Student Association, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Muslim Student Association, K-Pop and K-Drama Club, a role playing games club, the Youth Political Action Committee, chess, crochet and theatre. One club brings students with and without intellectual disabilities together to build friendships.
Our marching band competes at the UIL Region 5 Marching Contest, and our choir and Tiger football program are central to campus life.

The school's core mission centers on fostering academic growth and personal development for all students, ensuring that each child is equipped with the skills necessary to thrive in their educational journey. Alice Ponder Elementary employs a variety of innovative programs and therapeutic methodologies tailored to meet individual needs, emphasizing a holistic approach that integrates social-emotional learning alongside academic instruction. Alma Martinez Intermediate School
Alma Martinez Intermediate School honors a Mansfield ISD educator who spent three decades in the district, rising from special education teacher to principal, and who is the district's first Hispanic namesake. Our Navigators live by the motto "Point your compass toward success" and four Compass Traits: trustworthiness, empathy, responsibility and respect. Students can join our Fine Arts Academy or STEM Academy, and the sixth grade Fine Arts Academy orchestra performs concerts. Clubs meet before or after school and include Battle of the Books, Bluebonnet Book Club, Chess, Coding, Robotics, Hope Squad, Piece-Makers Quilting, Whiz Quiz, Student Council and Volleyball. Invitation-based tutoring runs Tuesdays and Thursdays after school, and Mansfield ISD offers before and after school care through its Out of School Time programs.
Brooks Wester Middle School
Our building opened in 1986 as Mansfield High School South. After the high school moved to its new Broad Street campus in 2002, the building was renovated that summer and reopened as Brooks Wester Middle School, named for a longtime community supporter. We are home of the Wildcats, and our motto is Inspiring Excellence. Students study English, math, science and social studies, and they can join band, choir, cheer and the district's middle school athletics. Every Wednesday during advisory, students choose a club that interests them, and our Student Council and National Junior Honor Society give students a chance to lead and serve. Our counselor's office supports students and families, our PTA is active on campus, and the district offers before and after school care through its Out of School Time programs.
