About Merakey - Scranton
Merakey’s Scranton Education Center provides specialized education for students with autism and related learning needs. Our education programs are developed with families and school districts, and are designed around students’ academic and developmental goals. Merakey also provides autism-focused supports in other settings, including transition and in-district programs.

Our New Story Schools Throop program serves kindergarten through grade 12 students who need autism or emotional support. Instruction is adapted to individual students' learning needs. On-site services include speech therapy, occupational therapy and counseling.
