About The Marylhurst School
The Marylhurst School, an independent and progressive educational institution located in Oregon City, Oregon, has been dedicated to serving the unique needs of children from preschool through 8th grade since its founding in 1972. With a core mission to nurture the educational, social, and emotional development of students, the school focuses on fostering a love for learning and self-discovery among its diverse student body. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to accommodate various developmental stages, particularly for those with language-based learning disabilities or who are twice-exceptional. In the early learning environment, an emergent, play-based approach encourages children to draw from their personal experiences while building a strong sense of self and cooperative skills. As students transition into primary and middle school, they engage in thematic studies and student-directed learning that promote leadership qualities and allow individual passions to flourish. Unique features such as low student-teacher ratios and an expansive 38-acre wooded campus create intimate mixed-age classrooms where hands-on experimentation thrives. The Marylhurst School stands out not only for its commitment to academic excellence but also for its strong emphasis on community involvement and family partnerships, ensuring that every child feels valued and supported throughout their educational journey.

Faith Custom Learning Centers
Faith Custom Learning Centers has served families in the Oregon City area since 2011 as a Christian, faith-based tutoring center for students in grades K-12 of every learning ability. Skill-based classes and one-on-one tutoring are built around where each student actually is, and a small tutor-to-student ratio lets teachers place students at the correct level for their work. Students come from public, private, and home schools, and once enrolled every student registers with their county for homeschool status. Alongside classes, the centers run a calendar of student events, the Falcon Market, and transcript services for enrolled families.
