Phoenix Learning Center LLC

Phoenix Learning Center is a private K-12 school in Sheffield Village built for students with special needs, especially students with behavioral needs. Our program blends three approaches: Applied Behavior Analysis to shape positive behavior and independence, Social Emotional Learning to build emotional regulation and relationships, and Project-Based Learning so students apply academics to hands-on, real-world projects.

Board Certified Behavior Analysts design and continually assess an individualized behavior intervention program for each child, using tools such as the VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, PEAK and AFLS, along with functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans. Our team includes BCBAs, registered behavior technicians, intervention specialists, a speech-language pathologist and an occupational therapist, with lead teachers for our primary, elementary, intermediate, middle school and high school classrooms.

Our programming follows Ohio Department of Education standards, and we work closely with local school districts. We also send behavior consultants into district schools to help teachers support students' behavioral and emotional needs.
