Dynamic Opportunities

At Follow the Child Montessori School, we guide children toward confidence, independence, creativity, and self-motivation. Our calm, welcoming setting brings Montessori learning to life through Toddler House, Children’s House, and lower and upper elementary programs. Teachers help children explore ideas, build skills, and take increasing responsibility for their work. We value the community formed by children, families, and educators, and welcome families to visit the campus and see our approach in action.

We teach grades 4 through 12 at Fusion Academy Raleigh, with one-to-one instruction, virtual small groups and self-directed digital learning. One-to-one classes pair a student with a teacher in real time; virtual small groups include two to five students. Full-time students have access to the Homework Café, clubs and campus activities. Part-time choices include classes for credit, tutoring and mentoring, and college or postsecondary counseling. Families receive daily instructor progress reports. Our Raleigh campus accepts North Carolina ESA and Opportunity Scholarship funding and is at 2418 Blue Ridge Road, Suite 200.

Governor Morehead School for the Blind is dedicated to providing specialized educational opportunities for North Carolina students with visual impairments and additional disabilities. Serving a diverse range of students, the school focuses on fostering an inclusive environment where each child can develop essential knowledge, skills, confidence, and values to thrive as independent, lifelong learners. The school's approach incorporates unique instructional methodologies and therapeutic programs that emphasize literacy and personalized learning. Notably, the Governor Morehead School is enhancing its facilities with advanced technology and creating a workforce training center aimed at equipping students with vital post-secondary employment skills. With a commitment to low student-teacher ratios and strong partnerships with families, the school ensures that each student receives tailored support. Community engagement is also a priority, as evidenced by ongoing outreach initiatives designed to connect families and stakeholders in meaningful ways.
