AYM School is a private school in NYC specializing in providing educational and therapeutic services for children with autism through a behavioral approach to learning. Our mission at AYM is to empower all learners to become responsibly independent, effectively interdependent, and successfully integrated.
At AYM, we offer a range of programs and services tailored to meet the unique needs of students aged 5 to 15 years old. Our curriculum is led by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to ensure high expectations and accountability. Students benefit from Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, counseling services, and social skills training. Additionally, our sensory integration programs, developed in collaboration with Occupational Therapists, provide students with opportunities to enhance their sensory repertoires in a state-of-the-art multi-sensory environment.
Our state-of-the-art facility features 12 classrooms, each maintaining an 8:1:2 student-to-teacher ratio (eight students, one certified special education teacher, and two teaching assistants) to ensure personalized attention and support. The campus includes six dedicated therapy rooms, a sensory gym, an indoor gym, and an outdoor playground, providing diverse environments for learning, therapy, and recreation. All classrooms are equipped with 21st-century educational technology, including computers, interactive Apple TVs, and iPads to enhance student learning and engagement.

We offer comprehensive afterschool care programs, including Social Skills Training and Managed Care, to further support students' learning and growth.
