Hebrew Academy For Special Children

Our Brooklyn preschool and agency serve children with and without special learning needs. We use a child-initiated approach, with art, music, movement and play supporting language, learning and social development. Integrated classes bring children with different learning needs together. Our special education services can include speech, occupational and physical therapy, counseling, and special education itinerant teacher support. Preschool evaluations and services follow the Committee on Preschool Special Education process, with an Individualized Education Program guiding eligible children's goals and recommendations.
