Apprende Private School

Apprende Private School in Valley Park serves children from prekindergarten through grade 12 in a small secular setting. Its ungraded approach lets students move through work at a pace that fits their learning, while teachers emphasize science, technology, engineering and math in core classes. The school encourages children to be kind, considerate, courageous and wise—four traits that shape its Apprendian identity.

Families can choose flexible schedules, and students generally complete homework during the school day. Apprende runs classes Monday through Thursday: prekindergarten through grade 6 meet from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., while grades 7–12 meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The school also lists separate summer sessions for its age groups. Its preschool and kindergarten program serves children ages three to six; elementary covers grades 1–6, followed by junior and senior high for grades 7–12.

Apprende welcomes families whose children learn at different rates and offers guidance to help identify a suitable program. Families can contact the school to discuss enrollment at 436B Valley School Drive.
