Springing Up Child Development Center

Springing Up Child Development Center is an academic-based program in Raymore for infants starting at 6 weeks old and children up through pre-kindergarten, with before and after school care for children up to ages 10 to 12. Our elementary program, Cornerstone Academy, teaches kindergarten through fourth grade in multiage classrooms, so students learn with like learners regardless of age.

Each group has its own color-coded room, starting with the Orange Room for infants, crawlers and one-year-olds and continuing through the Green, Blue and Yellow rooms. The Red Room is our pre-kindergarten, with circle time, journaling, learning centers, a quiet loft and a sensory area with water, sand and goo. The Rainbow Room is a second pre-K, set up as a transition room for children who want or need practice in a more structured classroom. Writing, art, music, P.E. and social-emotional growth are focus areas across our curriculum, and preschoolers head out on summer field trips.

Our Purple Room provides before and after care for children who attend local public schools, and some of those schools run buses to and from our center.
