About Shore Educational Collaborative - Woburn
Shore Educational Collaborative is a public special education day school and adult service provider working with children and adults who have developmental and intellectual disabilities, serving students from preschool through age 22 and adults beyond. After 50 years, Shore takes more than 200 annual enrollments from 15 school districts, at tuition roughly half that of private schools, and runs three adult programs attended by 375 adults combining full day habilitation with community-based supports. On-site services include occupational, speech, and physical therapy, behavior analysis, and assistive technology. Shore also supports districts directly through special education consultation, staff development, out-of-district IEP monitoring, program assessments, and coaching for special education team leaders, and was the first school for students with disabilities to partner with City Connects.
