Learning Grove - Summit View Academy

Second Step social and emotional learning and our school counseling department form part of student support at Twenhofel Middle School. We use positive behavior interventions and supports as a shared framework for school life, alongside tools such as IXL and Math180 for classroom learning. Our district also provides information about its gifted and talented program. Families can follow student work and grades through Infinite Campus and Schoology, using the same school resources that connect them with elective information and supplies. Art students create work that we display throughout the building, while cross country and other athletic opportunities give students ways to take part with classmates. Elective classes offer further choices as students explore their interests during the middle school years. We share school updates and student recognition with families, and our resources include a plan for nontraditional instruction. Those practical arrangements cover different parts of the school experience: learning tools and counseling, courses and activities, and information families need for school participation.

This community is accessible any time day or night, builds connection with other families, brings OT directly to you and provides ongoing therapy training and techniques for children with a variety of disabilities. The goal is to remove some of the barriers in accessing OT, whether that is provider availability, transportation, scheduling or finances. I aim to bring amazing sessions every week to engage you and your kiddos!
