Looks great until you enroll your child

This school seems perfect when you go for a tour. They have a lot of sensory rooms and provide their own transportation to students. However, if a student has behavioral issues, they don’t have the capacity to handle it. I was very open about my son’s behavior, his IEP had all the behavioral data, and they assured me they read it and were equipped to deal with it. A month after my son’s start date, they gave me an ultimatum to have him at the school for 4 hours a day only or not have him there at all. So, basically they just wasted our time since we could have kept looking for appropriate placement if only they were honest both with us and themselves. Very disappointing and unethical, especially coming from the social worker Miss G. who never offered any solutions even though she knew our situation.
