Cherokee Classical Christian School meets in the Fellowship Hall at Shoal Creek Baptist Church on Fincher Road in Canton, where we teach kindergarten through fifth grade on a traditional five-day schedule and will add sixth grade in 2027. We are an accredited, nonprofit, ecumenical classical Christian school grounded in the central doctrines of historic Western Christian churches. Our curriculum uses the classical tools of learning, following a Memoria scope and sequence, and Latin is part of the program. Students sit the Classic Learning Test in the elementary grades. The aim is to graduate young men and women equipped spiritually, intellectually and artistically to engage the culture as servants of Christ. Admission begins with a visit to the school, followed by an application through FACTS before March 1. Parents then meet with our head of school while each child is evaluated by a teacher in March and April, and decisions go out by April 15. Financial aid applications are available, and we enroll children from families who support an intentionally Christian education.

The Haven Academy offers private and hybrid education for kindergarten through grade 12 in Canton. We provide flexible learning pathways, with weekly assignments available online and options for families who keep homeschool status. We are accredited by Cognia and the Georgia Accrediting Commission. Students explore hands-on labs, robotics, engineering, film and the arts. Elementary students begin Spanish in kindergarten. High school options include AP classes, dual enrollment, credit recovery and summer school. Optional Fridays provide tutoring, homework support, clubs and musical theater.
