Appleton Early Learning Center, Inc. is dedicated to fostering the holistic development of young children aged 12 months to 5 years, with a particular focus on those with diverse learning needs. The center's mission emphasizes creating a fun and nurturing environment where each child can thrive academically, socially, physically, and emotionally. Programs are meticulously designed to cater to developmental milestones, incorporating a blend of structured learning and playful exploration. From sensory-rich activities for toddlers to engaging educational games in preschool and a specialized private pre-K program focused on foundational skills like math and phonics, Appleton ensures that children learn at their own pace while enjoying the process. Atlanta North School is a Seventh-day Adventist school on Chamblee Dunwoody Road serving children from Pre-K through 8th grade. Support from the Georgia-Cumberland Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and the Atlanta North SDA Church keeps our tuition well below many private schools in the area, and we offer multi-child discounts and need-based financial assistance. Our curriculum follows Adventist education standards correlated with state and national standards. Pre-K uses the Pebbles curriculum and kindergarten uses Stepping Stones, both built around themed units, and every classroom works with Chromebooks. We keep classes small and add a science lab, STEM, music, art, and physical education to core academics and Bible study. We are accredited by the Accrediting Association of Seventh-day Adventist Schools, Colleges, and Universities, the Georgia Private School Accreditation Council, and the Middle States Association (MSA-CESS), and we can enroll F-1 international students. Hot lunch is available Monday through Thursday, and on Fridays our 8th graders sell pizza lunch to fund their class trip.
