Amazing Explorers Academy Citrus Park, on Westpark Preserve Boulevard in Tampa, enrolls children from 6 weeks to 12 years and is now enrolling for VPK and private kindergarten. Families can apply a Step Up for Students scholarship at this campus. Our director holds a Florida Director's Credential with a VPK endorsement and has more than 25 years in early childhood education. Our STEAM Investigation curriculum draws on Reggio Emilia principles and project-based learning. Enrichment is built into every program at no extra cost: culinary lessons, sports, Spanish, robotics and coding, Zen Zones for mindfulness, and the Amazing Choices healthy-living program developed with Nemours Children's Health. We also teach children how to use AI safely and creatively, rather than relying on AI to teach them. Children ages 5 to 12 attend before and after school care with homework help, STEAM projects and outdoor play, and summer camps follow themes like forensic science and engineering. The building has keypad-controlled entry and live-stream cameras, and the center is DCF licensed. Hours are 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on weekdays.

Maintaining an intimate 6:1 student-to-teacher ratio, classrooms are equipped with augmented reality learning tools, tactile engineering blocks, light exploration tables, and nature study labs. Certified instructors focus on fostering creativity, scientific inquiry, early phonemic awareness, and social-emotional regulation, providing a welcoming, sensory-rich environment for neurotypical children and early learners with mild speech delays or sensory processing differences.
