Butterfly Effects provides ABA therapy in Miami, FL designed to foster communication, social, and daily living skills, empowering children to thrive. With seven decades of experience, the center offers an individualized approach, compassionate care, and a commitment to family engagement. The great majority of ABA services occur in the home, allowing families to observe sessions, provide feedback, and participate in treatment. This home-based approach is designed to transfer skills from teaching sessions to the child's home routines. The center accepts most major insurance providers including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Tricare, and UnitedHealthcare. Board-certified behavior analysts (BCBAs) work to identify goals that are important to families in developing personalized treatment plans. The center uses evidence-based ABA techniques including positive reinforcement, prompting, and shaping during teaching sessions, with continual data collection to evaluate progress and communicate to families. Services are available in-home, in-clinic, and online.

The organization is joined by Massiel Valdes, M.S., BCBA, and Jennie Salas Alfonso, M.S., BCBA, as members of the Board of Directors. All three hold master's degrees and are Board Certified Behavior Analysts. The company's goal is to provide the best possible treatment for children and adults who present deficits to adapt to the demands of the school, home, and other social settings, so that they can work on skills that will help them become more independent and successful. Understanding how behavior works in real situations, we aim to increase behaviors that are helpful and adaptive and decrease those that might be hurtful or affect learning. Through carefully constructed individual treatment plans, all clients may show substantial progress in important characteristics of the disorder.
