Amazing Explorers Viera, on Trafford Drive in Melbourne, serves children 6 weeks to 12 years old from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, hours set for working families. We are licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families, and Florida VPK is available for 4-year-olds. Our classrooms follow the Amazing Explorers STEAM Investigation curriculum, which draws on Reggio Emilia ideas and project-based learning. Infants and toddlers get individualized activities guided by developmental assessments, and preschoolers learn through guided projects, experiments and documentation boards that track their work. Enrichment is built into the day, including cooking lessons, sports, Spanish, robotics and coding, and quiet Zen Zone breathing exercises. Our Amazing Choices program, developed with Nemours Children's Health, shapes our meals, snacks and daily physical activity. Children ages 5 to 12 come for before and after school care with homework help, outdoor play and STEAM projects, and return for themed summer camps such as forensic science and engineering. Parents get daily updates through our app, the building has keypad entry and live-stream cameras, and all staff are background checked and hold CPR and first aid certification.

Champions at Viera Charter School provides before- and after-school care for families at Viera Charter School in Melbourne at 6206 Breslay Dr. The program is part of Discover Champions and KinderCare, offering structured care for children in grades K through 6 outside regular school hours. Champions enrolls for the school year and summer camp seasons with options for financial assistance and tuition support. Spanish runs through the school day at Pinecrest Academy Space Coast, a tuition-free K-8 public charter school in Viera. Our Spanish Acquisition Program started with grades K to 2 and adds an immersion grade each year, teaching academic content in two languages, English and Spanish, while students in grades 3 to 8 get daily Spanish instruction. Seventh and eighth graders can earn high school Spanish credit, setting them up for Spanish 3, Spanish 4 and AP Spanish and a path to the Florida Seal of Biliteracy. STEM is the other pillar. Project Lead The Way units have students collaborate on real-world problems, and families are helping build a brick pathway for our new Research Garden Lab. Core classes follow Florida standards, with art for every grade, elementary music built on singing, rhythm and instruments, and physical education. Through our Multi-Tiered System of Supports, students who need help receive targeted intervention, while others move ahead in Explorers classes. Qualifying students can join our Advanced and Gifted programs, which lean on project-based learning. After school, families can register for paid clubs.
