Tozer Primary School

Hollister Lake Elementary in Windsor serves preschool through grade 5. Our campus combines elementary classroom learning with special services and language instruction for students who need those supports. Families can find the school day, classes and student services through the Weld RE-4 school community.

A mother and daughter lead Kaleidoscope Kids Preschool on Main Street in Windsor. Our founder taught kindergarten and first grade for more than 20 years before opening the school, and our STEM coordinator brings a science teaching background and a master's degree in exercise science. We use project-based learning that blends hands-on STEM with art and creative projects, and our curriculum follows the children's own interests. Daily yoga, movement, nature walks, and outdoor play are part of the routine. Families choose a half-day program from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or a full-day program from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The half day covers literacy, problem solving, and social skills as children get used to school routines. We take part in Colorado's Universal Preschool Program (UPK), and financial assistance is available to UPK-eligible families.
