Temecula Montessori Academy opened in 1993, and several of our teachers have been with us for decades. Some of today's parents attended the school themselves and now enroll their own children. We offer an authentic Montessori program for children from 6 weeks to 12 years. Our infant room serves babies from 6 weeks to 24 months, toddlers join from 2 to 3.5 years, the primary classroom covers ages 3 to 5, and kindergarten runs from 5 to 6. Elementary students learn in mixed-age classrooms grouped by ability and interest rather than age, with individual learning plans that let fast learners accelerate and give others time to master each skill. Our Spanish program begins in preschool with songs, stories and games and grows into conversation, reading and writing in elementary. We also run STEAM and enrichment programs, a school lunch program and summer camp on our Jefferson Avenue campus.
