South Ranchito Dual Language Academy

The STEAM Academy @ Burke is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and innovative educational environment tailored for students with diverse learning needs, particularly those facing language-based learning disabilities and twice-exceptional challenges. The school's core mission emphasizes preparing students for college and career readiness while nurturing lifelong learning through a technology-rich curriculum. With a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM), the Academy employs specialized programs and therapeutic methodologies designed to engage students in meaningful ways that cater to their unique strengths and challenges. What sets the STEAM Academy apart is its commitment to maintaining a low student-teacher ratio, allowing for personalized attention and support. Additionally, the school actively collaborates with families to create strong partnerships that enhance the educational experience. Unique community events, such as the Jaguar Jamboree, celebrate student achievements and foster a sense of belonging among families. This holistic approach ensures that each student not only thrives academically but also develops confidence and resilience in a supportive atmosphere.
