About Paso Robles Co-Op Pre School
Parents founded Paso Robles Cooperative Preschool in 1969 because they wanted to share in their children's first school experience, and that idea still shapes our program. Families take part in the work of the school: parents are directly involved during the school day, and each in-house family picks a support job when registering.
We are a state licensed preschool and run as a school based program rather than a daycare. Class meets Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Our goals for children include independence, decision making, listening skills, large and fine motor development, language and problem solving, and we offer parent education alongside the classroom.
New families tour and apply to join our waiting list, and in-house and alumni families register first each year. Fundraisers such as our annual Crab Feast and the Twelve Days of Christmas giveaway support the school.
