Canyon Early Learning Center (CELC) is dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for young children, particularly those with diverse learning needs. Serving preschool-aged students, CELC focuses on fostering development in children with various diagnoses, including language-based learning disabilities and those who are twice-exceptional. The center employs a holistic approach that incorporates traditional preschool activities such as greeting circles, small group interactions, music and movement sessions, choice time, reading, meal times, and outdoor play. This comprehensive methodology is designed to engage children in meaningful ways while promoting social and emotional growth. Canyon Oaks High School is the alternative high school in the Monrovia Unified School District, and we share a principal and a campus with Mountain Park School. Our students are taking a different route to a diploma, and our staff supports them academically, socially and behaviorally on the way to graduation. Canyon Oaks students take UC-approved A-G courses, and our Career Pathways for All Students program offers pathways in Arts, Media and Entertainment (design, visual and media arts, and performing arts), Building and Construction/Engineering, Health Science and Medical Technology, and Transportation. Coursework includes Edgenuity online classes, and the district runs an independent study model for middle and high school students. Our counseling staff helps each Mountain Lion plan for college or work after graduation. For more than a decade, staff and community members have hosted a Thanksgiving Feast before the holiday break so every student can share a meal with classmates. Students can also take part in the district Gifted and Talented program, and families have access to district mental health resources.

Tzu Chi Elementary School is dedicated to nurturing students from kindergarten through fifth grade, particularly those who thrive in an environment that emphasizes both academic excellence and character development.
