Maywood Academy High School

Maywood Academy High School is an LAUSD campus on Pine Avenue, home of the Nighthawks. Our students can choose from eleven Advanced Placement courses, take dual enrollment college classes and get tutoring support, and AVID helps students prepare for college.

Career Technical Education is a big part of campus life. CTE pathways include architecture, computer science, culinary arts, food service and hospitality, and dance. Outside class, students join folklorico dance, robotics and student clubs, and our ARC after-school program offers educational and recreational classes. Athletics include water polo and swimming.

Our counseling office and college center support students through graduation, and families use our Parent Center for workshops and volunteer opportunities.
