Frostig School West
Frostig School West is a private special education school located on the beautiful grounds of Bel Air Church at 16221 Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles, serving students in grades 1-12 with complex learning challenges since 2019. Part of the renowned Frostig School system with 70 years of excellence, the West LA campus serves families in West Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley with an exceptional 4-5:1 student-teacher ratio. The school serves 135 students total across both West LA and Pasadena campuses, providing specialized education for students with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, processing disorders, ADHD, high-functioning autism spectrum disorder, and anxiety. Tuition for 2022-23 is $54,600, which includes weekly transportation to the Pasadena campus and the added costs of exceptionally small class sizes. Staff are trained in evidence-based programs including Lindamood-Bell, Wilson Reading System, Rewards Reading Intervention, and Step Up to Writing. The curriculum includes grade-appropriate courses in language arts, math, science, and social studies, plus daily arts electives in music, drama, or studio art. Additional services include Social Learning Program, onsite clinical services, summer programs, and after-school tutoring and enrichment. WASC accredited with year-round enrollment available.
