Casa Pacifica Non-Public School - Camarillo
Casa Pacifica Non-Public School is a fully certified nonpublic school located on the organization's 25-acre Camarillo campus in Ventura County, California. It provides specialized education and integrated behavioral health support for students in grades K-12 and transitional age youth ages 6 through 22 who have an Individualized Education Plan with eligibility for Emotional Disturbance, Other Health Impairment, Autism (secondary), or combinations thereof. The school serves day students referred by school districts throughout Ventura County, southern Santa Barbara County, and northern Los Angeles County. It offers a safe, relationship-based, therapeutic environment with personalized academic interventions using the Road To Success Academy curriculum model, small class sizes, targeted reading and math support, credit recovery, vocational education, and transition programs. Students receive instruction aligned to Common Core Standards along with music, art, physical education, and electives. Placement occurs through district referrals for students with qualifying IEPs. The program is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and fully certified with commendations by the California Department of Education. Frontier High School
Frontier High School is the alternative high school of the Oxnard Union High School District, located on Airport Way in Camarillo. Our Student Success Academy lets 12th graders complete course requirements at an accelerated, self-paced rate, with each student working from an individualized plan toward graduation. Saturday Academy, a College and Career Center, career technical education, work experience and work permits, and dual enrollment with Ventura, Oxnard, and Moorpark colleges round out the academic program. Special education teachers, including two department chairs, serve students on campus. We are accredited by WASC. Students can use our Wellness Center and the After School Oasis, and clubs include Dungeons and Dragons, guitar, yoga and meditation, and Art and Culture Around the World.
