Bassett High School

Bassett High School is the high school of the Bassett Unified School District, home of the Olympians, and this year we are celebrating our 60th anniversary. Students build their schedules around a rigorous A-G college prep program with honors and AP courses, including AP Calculus BC, Statistics, Chemistry, Physics, Studio Art, Music Theory, Psychology, and Spanish Language and Literature.

Our Health Science Academy pathway partners with Kaiser Permanente and introduces students to medicine, research, pharmaceuticals, and public health, with HOSA-Future Health Professionals for leadership and competition. We also offer career technical education, an Early College Academy partnership with Mt. San Antonio College, a gifted and talented (GATE) program, Upward Bound, and a College and Career Center.

Outside class, students join Academic Decathlon, the Ecology Club, the Olympian Marching Band, eSports, and our athletics program. Think Together runs an after-school program every weekday from 2:50 to 6:00 p.m. with a teen center, culinary arts, dance, cosmetology, a study center, and mural art. We use PBIS schoolwide, and students can access counseling through Margaret's Place.
