Olive Grove Elementary School

Olive Grove Elementary opened in 1999 and serves transitional kindergarten through 5th grade in Antelope, as part of the Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District. Our program covers social-emotional learning, science, technology, engineering, visual and performing arts, and physical education.

Every student in kindergarten through 5th grade belongs to one of five Houses named for character traits in languages from around the world: Okudala (Creativity), Amistad (Friendship), Adorea (Courage), Rakkan (Optimism), and Altruismo (Selflessness). Houses gather for assemblies across grades and classrooms, and every Monday is House Spirit Day.

Dry Creek provides a continuum of special education services, from support in the general education classroom to Learning Center small-group instruction and Special Day Classes for preschool through 8th grade. Related services include speech and language, counseling, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and adapted physical education. We also support English language learners, offer independent study, and host Sunrise Kids Club before and after school care.
