About Summit Academy - Winchester
Summit Academy is a TK-8 school in Winchester within Temecula Valley Unified School District. Our campus serves transitional kindergarten and kindergarten, elementary grades 1 to 5, and a middle school for grades 6 to 8, so families can stay with us from a child's first school year through eighth grade.
Our approach is built on The Leader in Me and its 7 Habits. Our youngest students learn responsibility, communication, and teamwork through storytelling, role-play, and games. In the elementary grades, leadership principles are woven into math, language arts, and science, and students take on classroom jobs and student-led projects. Middle schoolers work on conflict resolution and collaboration in advisory periods and apply their skills through service projects and leadership conferences.
Students can join ASB and yearbook, and families take part through our PTSA. The district's BASES program provides before and after school care, and our counselors offer mental health and wellness resources.
