Alyce Norman Educational Center

At Alyce Norman Preschool in West Sacramento, children learn through play as they build skills for kindergarten. Yolo County Office of Education runs early childhood programs, including Head Start, Early Head Start, and State Preschool, for families who qualify. The programs pair early education with attention to children's health, primary care, and family involvement, helping children arrive at school ready to learn.

Families can apply through Yolo County's English or Spanish enrollment materials and contact the preschool at its Anna Street site. For West Sacramento families, the center connects a local preschool setting with the county's broader early childhood services.
