Birch Academy

Birch Academy is a New Hampshire Department of Education-approved special education placement dedicated to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for students in grades K-6. The academy's core mission is to empower each child by building upon their individual strengths, ensuring they receive a personalized education that fosters academic success and emotional well-being. Birch Academy offers a comprehensive 10-month special education program, complemented by a 25-day Extended School Year (ESY) program during the summer months. The academy employs evidence-based methodologies such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and music therapy. Additionally, students benefit from tailored academic instruction, social skills groups, and individualized behavior support plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
